At Charles Bloom, the drama department strives on furthering students’ interest in acting, producing, managing, stage creation and manipulation. Our ultimate goal is to provide a safe and active site for future performers to expand their understanding of the dramatic arts, increase participation and to continue the success of the drama program. Classes provide students with an opportunity to interact with improvisation, scene planning, script reading and acting where groups and individuals showcase their different talents on a daily basis. By providing an environment where students have the prospect to express themselves openly without ridicule, each drama participant can augment their confidence and further their theatrical capabilities.

By entering into the extracurricular realm at the school, new artists have an opportunity to thrive among students who have similar ambitions and ideals. Each student has an equal opportunity to partake in the production duties, whether the responsibility is the lead role or the lighting supervisor, or the stage manufacturer.
