Counsellors welcome all students, and especially those who are new to our school to drop in and see them (no appointment necessary).
Students use counselling services to explore and develop educational goals, to mediate between peers, school and their parents, for self exploration, to assist in resolving confidential personal issues, in time of crisis
Through personal, educational and career counselling, students are helped to discover their strengths, challenges, needs and values. They are encouraged to develop qualities which will help them become self-reliant.
Students can make their own appointment with either Mr. Plecas or Ms. Glinsbockel. Parent academic inquiries are also welcomed by the counselors. If parents wish to speak with a counselor, appointments can be scheduled by contacting the school at 250.547.2191.
